I prefered topwater for a while around 5:30pm to 8pm and caught lots of bass. It seems now (Aug. 20-29th) I've only been catching bass with worms (green with colored flakes).
Has this held true with anyone else? Smile

Thats a good idea try a manns minus 1 or simulalar crank you can control depth by speed of retrieval.

GREEN WORMS ALSO SEEM TO BE WORKING FOR ME BUT I AM GOING TO TRY THE TOP WATER SOON BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF JUMPERS LATLEY. SPINNERS ALSO HAVE BEEN A FAVORITE THIS YEAR. I FEEL THE WACKY WEATHER PATERNS THIS YEAR HAVE MADE FISHING UNPREDICTABLE.
