Ames Pond, MA Fishing Report

Picks @ Ames

Me and my buddy headed out to Ames Pond around noon on this rainy day. Ended up with 2 pickerel, and 15+ sunfish over three hours. Mainly used crawlers for bait but caught 1 pick on a shiner lure. Also fished the deeper part along the rock wall with a crank bait and came up empty without a single hit. While we had a decent day overall, the pond is relatively hard to fish because it is mainly residential private yards on the water but there are definitely some spots to get some quality time in.
