Upper Mill and Walker Ponds Description

Located In Brewster, MA Upper Millpond can be a great spot for bass anglers.

Upper Millpond is connected to Walkers Pond via a very narrow and shallow canal between the two. Walkers is generally pretty shallow across its width and doesn't offer up too much gamefishing opportunity although bass are present. Both Largemouth and Smallmouth are represented in Upper Millpond but are scattered around the coastline. If you do find a school of smallies though, you're in for a real treat. Look for Largemouth holding in five feet of water in summer and smallies scattered over structure anywhere from 5-15 feet. Very little vegetation here.

Public launch off of Slough Road
3 HP limit on motors.

Narrow canal restricts mostly anything but a canoe or kayak from reaching Upper Mill via the public launch.
