Rubber Worms

so thru the summer i've been trying to land something on a rubber worm.  have not had musc luck.  but i stuck with it and hit a small bass yesterday , sunday morning.  I know the bass are deep so i kept goin to the bottom with rubber worms but nothing has hit all summer.  i set up with texas rig 7.5 inch culprit black worm and thew it in about 6-7 feet of water on steep shelf, some rock and weeds and it hit on the drop as most rubber worm strikes.  all in all it was a nice day,  and to get back the roots we used some crawlers to have some fun with the smallies before it was time to go in.

Largemouth

I was determined to catch a largemouth this weekend, i was glad the rain moved in and cooler temps, i new that would help.  So last night (sunday) around 6:00 pm.  i hooked into a largemouth on a floating shallow runner fake minnow.  in about 2 - 3 feet of water.  good size approx 3 lbs.  it hit after about 3 seconds of the lure hittin the water, had another hit but miss in the same area.  they were definitly coming to the surface and thats a good sign.
