This past summer was it the year I took my obession of fishing to a whole new level.Commercail fishing! This is just a summary of how it went down. Lets just say there is a big difference between rec and com.

The first night of the stripper season started off with a dense fog over the Harbor. As I steam out by castle island I can see what looks like a wall of fog. I have driven boats my whole life Never in fog . So a slow down and head in . Once in the fog I couldn't 3 feet infront of the boat . I have taken this same route 10 times already this year so I think I got it . I continue to drive and i think the airports off my starboard side from the the lights i can make out . After passing what i thought was the airport I encounter a small island . Now im saying to myslef F@@k! im lost its 2am the fog won't break till atleast 6am. as I sit there and wait and fish it becomes apparent I won't hit my honeyhole off Winthrop. as I sit there and wait I hear a huge Horn every 30 seconds. I can tell its huge and is getting louder and louder by the minute. As I look to the port side of the boat it looks like an island moving in the fog . I moved enough fog to see it as it passed . Carnival Cruise awesome just had a ship pass me that was the size of a football field and i never saw it coming .Now i'm thinking where am I . I've never seen that ship before. To make a long story short I was off walliston beach Quincy bay. First tip to all DON'T DRIVE IN THE FOG UNLESS YOU HAVE A GPS
