Spent most of the morning in front of the pc waiting for the rain to end over here in Oxford,MA just as soon as the sun started to shine a little I went out and dug some crawlers grabbed a cup of coffee and took off in search of a pond called Nipmuck on Sutton rd.Well needless to say I just could not seem to find a decent place to pull over so basically I called it a wash,headed back towards Oxford when I got to the turn on Cudworth Rd I noticed water to my left I thought I might as well look into it and started to drive in that direction.Well I got to Mapfre Insurance formally Commerce insurance I took a drive through the parking lot and actually stopped got out and looked around to see if I could gain clear access to the water I was looking at it seemed to be a pretty swampy area but I did notice another road on the other side which is Gore Rd I figured might as well check it out might be a bridge with water running under it.As I was leaving Mapfre parking lot I noticed a side road off of Gore what the hell might as well check it out(no name for this road) so I ventured down it and was surprised to see a large pull out on my left so I parked got out my gear and walked down the enbankment,baited up and first cast landed a rather small largemouth bass put him back like I do with everything else I catch unless they are hurt to the point where they wont survive,anyway I spent about 3hrs there quite a few sunfish another largemouth one bluegil and three catfish.Some older guy was walking his dog when I was packing it in and I asked him where I was fishing of course this is Massachussets people just ignore you never got a answer till I got home and brought up a map online and that's how I found this website too I'll probably fish there again.
