I started making my own baits about 6 years ago. started out by buying the materials and just assembling them. but then i really got into it a couple of years after. started buying the lead and the melting pot and making my own forms and skirts. great hobby, doesn't cost a hell of a lot of money. and i've sold quite a few over the years to some local small bait shops. the last year has been slow, i haven't made too many of them. but i'll get back into it full swing soon. i recomend you try it, very relaxing.
