Sebasticook River, Benton, Maine...... Going north for the weekend. Gonna try to get a line wet in the Sebasticook River, below the Benton Dam. Catch 2-3 lb. smallies all day. Down river, they just took down the Fort Halifax Dam, in Winslow, but I guess they are catching stripers up to 30" all the way to the Benton dam. Could be an interesting trip. Smallies bite on inline spinners such as rooster tails, mepps........stay tuned. Posted at 07:19 AM

Need to get on the water!!!!! Have only been out fishing once in the last 2 weeks, and haven't striper fished in about 2 1/2 weeks. Should be able to get out this weekend. Only trip I went on was to Long Pond in Plymouth, where I only caught 1 smallie, and 4 Largemouth, but one was a 4.0 lb'er. Nice day out, great conditions, just slow action. Posted at 08:51 AM |
