Shimano IX spinning reels are great reels

I have been using Shimano IX spinning reels most of the fishing season this year.

I have two. The IX 4000R & the IX 2000R. IX 4000R is good for medium weight fishing and the IX 2000R is good for light weight trout presentations. These reels can be spooled up with Mono, Flouro or Braid. 

The cost about $15+tax.

The only thing I don't like about them are the triggers. I find that the catch the line too much so I removed them and the function of the reel was much improved.
