Braided line

What happened to being a sportsman and actually fighting a fish to your boat/spot to land it? Why must everyone now-a-days use the latest and greatest super-dooper-Braided whammy line in 50lb test? You may as well be using a steel chain out there, and just haul whatever is on the other end back...

Fishing snobs

I have met so many fishing "snobs" it isn't funny. people that wouldn't think twice about fishing for something other than a Bass or Trout. As If these are some magical gamefish that make you an awsome sportsman. What about Catfish? They put up a hell of a fight and get huge, not to mention very very good tablefare. And the Carp? A garbage fish? Get a 5lb carp on the end of your favorite bass rod and tell me it wasn't thrilling, and 5lbs is just a baby...
