Comment: I was fishing here this morning (8/7/15) and I had a fish that I thought was a log come within 3ft of my yak. It was MASSIVE I'd say easy 8lbs but here's the crazy part, it was white and black!!!??? I have no clue what it was carp, koi, albino something??? It was freaking massive though!!

Comment: Smallmouth bass can also be caught in this pond. The fishing is OK from shore but will almost always yield small fish. Your best chance at catching something larger is to get out in a boat and either go to an area inaccessible by trail or troll with lures.

Two boat launches are available. One is inside the parking area located on Sanders Rd. The other is on Mill Street between Saltonstall Rd and Berkely Ave. Gas powered motors are not allowed on this lake.
