Comment: Good place for Panfish. Crappie, Bluegills, Pumpkinseeds, and Green Sunfish are abundant, also holds some Largemouth here and there if you can find them. A friend of mine caught a 2 pound Brown Bullhead here a few weeks back as well. We usually fish the Sandy Beach Peninsula to the West of Willet Elementary School. A small trail through the woods leads right to it, past a waterfall with two cement walls which provide excellent Crappie holes. Also saw two very large (atleast 2-3 feet long) bright orange fish with friends in early June of 2012 swimming parallel to each other, they almost looked like Coi fish or Carp. Still puzzles us to this day and haven't seen them since. Also watch out for an abundance of snapping turtles nesting on the shorelines in early summer here!
