Comment: I fish this place a number of times each year. It is getting trashed and the police do patrol it. They frown on people fishing on the pump station side (from shore) and will kick you out. There is way to much broken glass all around the pond so be careful.

Comment: This is a great place to hang out and bring the dogs, fish, have a picnic, but this pond is NOT SAFE FOR SWIMMING. There was a near drowning incident here the other day, a 7 year old child went out a little past his knees to retrieve a frisbee for his dog and he went right under, there is a huge drop off in the pond very close to the shore. 3 ft to 11 ft in a matter of steps. A good samaritan was there to pull he and his mother out of the water. There is a rock there spray painted with the words "No Swimming" but its easily missed. There needs to be more prominent signs put up warning people. This pond is NOT SAFE FOR SWIMMING.

Comment: Definetly a good pond I recomend fishing near the parking lot for bass in evening and in the lillies for pickerel and crappie. Every year they have the fishing derby in the spring where you can win prizes like rods lures and powerbait.

Alot of trash here and if you are swimming I would be careful if you don't want to turn into a pin cushion.

Comment: I used to fish this pond a lot as a kid... There were tons of bass, crappies, and trout to be taken...

These days though, I feel like the weeds have grown substantially since I was a youngin. Also, it is overfished like crazy... It's been a while since I've pulled a decent sized fish from here...

Tons of bluegills... If you are a live bait guy, that pretty much renders nightcrawlers useless...

The bass, especially the smallies, are incredibly wary.

The FBI was also there and shut it down for a few days while they sent divers to search for something in the water! Look it up! It was all over the news!

Comment: Actually, this pond is in Westwood. It is stocked with trout in the spring and I understand some nice fish have come out of here.

There is a small parking lot along Pond street and and a very short haul to the water. Access is pretty good at several points along this side though there are often people fishing from shore.

The north and east sides of the pond have lots of lilly pads and offer some nice bass and pickerel. The western side is a bit deeper and is where the trout are taken during warmer months.

The fish in this pond are active and healthy and it's a good place to fish from a kayak as it offers a nice variety of types of fish to go after.
