Comment: Sprague is a great spot to fish. Pretty good size bass in here. Couple of my friends catch pretty big carp too. A lot of bass though. There's a small path by the train tracks. The shore over there is the best spot.

Comment: bloomagoo: Oh yeah. There are good bass in there. I went back in the AM and PM yesterday with JR from here. He smashed 4 in a couple hours. I caught a couple quick ones at sunset for an hour.

Comment: Funny, I've often wondered if that little pond held anything but I never bothered to look it up on this site. Riding the train home from work on Friday I saw two boats out there. Question answered.

Comment: I used to work on Sprague pond back in the '80s, and occasionally fished at lunch. All I ever saw were bluegill and carp. I've seen people fish at the south end of the pond in the past, but the access is a business parking lot, and it's posted, so I'm not sure what the access is like now. It's right up against the Amtrak rail line, but I'm not sure if there's any public access to get to the tracks now. There's fish in there, but I wouldn't make a trip of it - it's better for local kids.
