Review: Althea Lake provides plenty of action from Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie and Brown Bullheads. None of which are of big size. Another problem this Lake has is that there is only one publib access point and the only way you are going to get a boat in here is if you are willing to carry a canoe or kayak down a trail to the public spot. The public spot is only big enough for 3-4 people to fish!
