Checked out Dudley Pond this morning. Fished from 720-10:30 AM - caught two good size bass - my largest and first decent size on lures! Super psyched. First one caught on watermelon senko texas rigged and the other was on my mepps. The larger of the two was on the mepps. Both measured about 14" according to my rod ruler. A guy who brought his boat in said it was probably 2lbs?

Went over to Cutler Lake to walk my dog and cast a few at around 730 PM. I took the path to the left around the lake and set up at the first clear area. Tried a few different lures over several casts as time was short and I am new to using lures. Caught one small Largemouth Bass on a Mepps Aglia spinner. Very psyched - no pic as it was almost dark but it was about 10-11" long.
