Woods Pond Description

Pond has high levels of PCB's do not eat fish!

Located in Lenox-dale, MA Woods pond is fed by the Housatonic River which flows right through the middle of the pond.

During the warmer months much of this lake is covered by a thick layer of lilly pads.

Anglers pull out 20lb carp averages during spring/summer/fall months.

Ice fishing can bring some good rewards as large Northern Pike are commonly caught from the pond.

See as how this lake is a no eat the fish lake. Most catches are caught and released making it even more possible to land a big one.

There are several shore fishing spots including a foot bridge which crosses the pond near the river outlet.

The pond is also a frequent for canoe and kayakers going down the Housatonic River as this is the farthest point you can go before getting out and preceding down river due to damn spillways.
