Got out on a fine day to sunny skies and a high of about 50 degrees. Wind was light but still felt a tad nipple to me considering where i had been. Water temp in the merrimack is still cold. Could not of been much higher than 40 degrees in the current where i landed these 2 commons(13 lb. dark, long and lean male and 14 lb. light, short fat female). Both caught on water pig baits and I was 2 for 2 on the day. In about a week the water temp should approach 50 degrees with the warmer temps arriving.

| Where were the duo of Carp caught? I went today in Haverhill with sweet corn and caught nothing but debris, lol. Also, could you elaborate on the water pig baits? I am oblivious lol. |
