Hi,
I am travelling to Bostom a couple of time in the arly new year and was after some info about fishing opportunities in the region. Prepared to travel within the State and surrounds to get onto some good fishing. Any tips, help, suggested charters & guides or even an invite would be great. I can return the favour for anyone heading to Australia.

Cheers,

What month are you coming? We'll probably have ice on most lakes until late February or March, but if you're interested in ice fishing, there are plenty of opportunities. If you don't have gear, I believe there are guide services around ... I don't know any near the Boston area, but perhaps in Western Mass, or at some of the bigger lakes in New Hampshire or Maine.

I'd suggest targeting fish you don't have in Australia, maybe largemouth bass or pike.

As for ocean fishing, can't beat a battle with a striped bass, and there are many charters along the coast, from Gloucester to the Cape...I think the best runs are Spring and Fall.
