Cajun Red Lightnin mono

I was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with Cajun Red Lightnin mono? Reviews are mixed on this product.

I like that line. I've used it on one reel or another for years without issue. This is the first season I can remember that I don't have a reel spooled up with it.

I've used just about every color of mono that's available but haven't even tried the cajun red. Something about fishing a red line always threw me off. What advantage would it provide to someone? Better line visibility?

Red is the first color to disappear under water after the first couple of feet.
