We had a great day Monday the 30th. Especially Jeff! I got 2 carp, 14 and 18 lbs, Jeff got 7 carp, 14, 17, 18, 19, 19.5, 22 and a 30+ lb. PIG!!! Congrats Jeff, biggest carp i ever saw LIVE!

Very nice guys, i've yet to find me a Mirror here in MA. BUT i have only been fishing Carp here for 3 weeks so far, pretty much the same as English Carp but for 2 things, i caught around a 15lb grass and it actually jumped out of the water trying to get off! fished Carp all my life and never seen one actually leave the water! secondly, with my Liscence in hand i can fish my beloved Carp FOR FREE!!!..... no more $10 'Day Tickets' or $750 'Annual Memberships' for me!!!!

oh i forgot! and the fact you guys use 'Barbed' hooks here. ALL Carp fishing in England is Barbless hooks only.

I crush down the barbs on my hooks old - they always come right out. If I happen to see barbless hooks, I'll buy a package just for carp. Of course over here, with such little fishing pressure, our carp don't get caught over and over, so few even see a hook, much less get any damage from barbs.
