Is it true the carp will be slow in feeding so you wont be getting many bites in the next 3 weeks or so?
Becausing there spawning?

When they are spawning ..yeah. They are pretty per-occupied. If you see them crashing all over the shore lines..you'll pick up a few stragglers but over all it isn't as productive.

Your better bets are leading up to spawn after the winter passes and post spawn. Post spawn fish will be hungry but obviously quite smaller.

yeah my first 2 carp ever i just got last week during spawning. i saw them wrestling all over the shore so i picked a spot and started chumming and sure enough there was 1 that decided to give the sexy time a break and stop for a bite Wink
