Went out last sunday real early in the boat, around 530am, what a beautiful morning, fog was out, unreal sunset, but anyways was working a weeded bank, of about 4ft and it was clear as day, and looked down and saw the biggest, whitest carp iv ever seen. Must have been 3+ft, I'm new to fishing, and never fished for carp before, is this a normal size for one? Anyone seen this thing in Dudley?

Koi came from selective breeding of the common carp over years and years they have ones that they sell which is the same as you will catch in yhe waters around here. But then they have taken the special ones and breed and breed them so they look nothing like a "natural" common carp but they are genetically the same.

Im gonna try to catch a Koi from there.. maybe in 2 weeks I caught a Koi few yrs back at Lake Quinsig, Plus that would make a fantastic Replica. My good friend is a Taxidermist, he's almost done with the 2, 30lb+ Carp from the Ct River. When they are done they will be on Display at Klem's in N. Brookfield
