I have been interested in catching tiger trout for a while now, but do not know where my chances of catching some will be good. Does anybody know of any areas where I may have success with them? I'm not looking for specific spots, just bodies of water.

Bigger, more heavily stocked ponds have them. Walden, Comet, Quinsigamond, to name a few...

Problem is in ponds, there's so many other trout, your chances of catching a tiger is super low. Especially considering how few there are in each pond.

If you want to catch one, take up fly fishing! Fly fishing is almost always more effective for trout in general, and there are definitely a greater percentage of tiger trout in rivers. The Westfield is the most heavily stocked tiger trout area.

A lot of people catch em off small shiners. Hopkinton res has decent amount of them. But they are rare compared to rainbows.

I've caught them at Massapoag and the outgoing stream.
