If I recall correctly doesn't the Charles have Grass carp in it? at least according to this site ( http://www.angelfire.com/ma3/carphuna438/vmass.html ) I have never caught one either and it would be great to find out more info about em. I'm not sure we have any Buffalo here, unless of course it is a private stock..

Anyway I will start looking as well and will share anything I do manage to find with you.

Grassers in MA?? Nah, just a rumor...

http://www.carpanglersgroup.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40201&pid=532283&st=0&#entry532283

First off, no buffs in MA. Closest they would be is SW PA near and below Pittsburg...

Second, grassers are not legal in any way in MA, even for the owner of the "ghoulish" plot of land I catch mine in. No permit granted...for any reason in the state.

The one I got from the Charles, as Corey states, was luck (in finding, but skill in stalking). BUT, the rest of mine (including fish to mid 50's) came from going out and finding these waters myself. Saying this, I've only landed 7 grassers from this 4 acre puddle, but 5 of the 7 topped 40lbs, and 2 topped 50lbs...

You live 15 miles from here, too, Corey...
