It is a beautiful night for topwater out there tonight! Here in East Arlington, it is mid sixties, absolutely still, and a slightly less than quarter moon providing some nice surface light now that the clouds have drifted away. I can't do it tonight, for family and work reasons (as always...), but I sure hope someone is out enjoying it with a black jitterbug, because this is the night for it, I can just feel it and smell it in the air. I live between Spy pond and the Mystic Lakes, and I don't care which, I'd love to be out in my kayak on any of them right now, or anywhere, really.

If you were lucky enough to be out this fine evening, please let me know how you killed them on the topwater out there tonight...

(looking forward to some free time this summer...)

Cheers,

Kevin
