OK, so it looks like a full field! Good to see new names and veterans!

If you are signed up and can't make it, please post a cancel. If you aren't signed up and would like to, go ahead and enter as an alternate and we'll see if anything opens.

You can put my father, Paul, down as an alternate. =)

Looks like tomorrow is going to be nice! Again, please post if you will not make it as we have an alternate in line.

Reminder, especially for anglers new to the Kayak Tourney scene, to have:

-digital scale
-something for photo of fish and scale reading (cell/smart phone cam works well)
- PFD ("Stump Pond"!)

Hey Tom, if there is only one person on the alternate list we can just expand the field to 11.

Posted Fri May 02, 2014 12:33 pm

Hi John, we have 12 signed up and an alternate would expand the field to 13 assuming we get 100% show. Any reason we can't do that?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I just called my father to tell him he can fish, and he told me he's now babysitting his ex-wife's grandson. Who does that? Laughing

So he's out, unfortunately. =(

No monsters. =( Lunker was 2lbs 1oz, and the overall winning weight was 4lbs 11oz. Tough day.

i went there the last weekend of march, and to be honest, didnt like it. the main reason i didnt like it is because the water was too cold at the time and the fish were still too deep. maybe now will be better and easier to catch more and better fish. make sure to bring a PFD since there are lots of stumps that cant be seen.

My first time was for this tournament. TONS of wood. I did well with a spinnerbait, but I know jigs and swimbaits work well, too. A friend caught an 8-pounder there on a swimbait.
