That's a good number. I know Eric's and his friend are carpooling and my dad and I are as well. And honestly, if there is too little parking, some of us can sign in and then shoot on over an launch/park at another spot.

I recently learned that there's a term for that. It's called the "road runner option." It's usually used on bigger bodies of water with multiple launch points. Once you check in and listen to the pre-tournament briefing, you can jump in your vehicle and head to a different launch point.

TomP will have to confirm it but I think as long as your craft is PEOPLE POWERED( no gas or electric motors) you can participate.

Just curious. Are the two ponds on the other side of 140 in play? I think they're considered part of Norton Res.

Saturday will be my 1st trip too Norton Res, can you access the other ponds by paddling under a bridge or culvert or do you have too portage over the road???
