I have this pond I go to that holds some monster smallies in Plymouth. I wont post the name on the web, but if any of you guys are down the Plymouth area I would have no problem sending you there. This place is basically a bowl. Tops out at 20 ft deep but has vast area of flat bottom stucture at 17ft to 20 ft. I have an old fishing buddy, but its only good foor showing structure and depth. Wont show schools of bait fish or any deep grass beds. With no structure in deep water I figure the smallie pretty much follow the food around. I was there a few weeks ago and my friend caught a 4lb and a 5lb smallie upping his personal best twice. I caught a nice 4lb 8oz. The next time fishing same spots nothing! Any ideas? Very Happy
