I checked history on line. There is no information before 2005. In the past nine years, my fish is the 3rd largest. From 2008, this laker is the biggest of knowing record.

17LB 9OZ quabbin 2013
17LB 11OZ wachusett 2012
14LB wachusett 2011
17LB 5OZ wachusett 2010
15LB 7OZ quabbin 2009
17LB 11OZ wachusett 2008
19LB 6OZ quabbin 2007
16LB 1OZ quabbin 2006
21LB 4OZ quabbin 2005

State record is 24lbs 2004 Wachusett reservoir Mike Sinkewcz. Several fish of 20 pounds or more have been taken from the Wachusett. 2 of the last 3 record breaking fish are from the Chu. My own personal best is 19 lbs 13 oz taken about 5030 yards from where your fish was caught on Rt 110. Last year there were 2 fish over 18 lbs taken from the exact same spot your picture was taken.

I know the state record is 24LB. I don't know someone else catching a bigger one. I only have state annual record to compare. To me, the big fish story exist anywhere. I have heard guy told me catching 5LB smallie all day long. LOL..whatever you said, no picture no truth. A man caught a big laker he said was 15-16LB, we checked on two digital scales, it came out like 12LB 11OZ.
