Took a trip to Plum Island on Sunday the 5th, the Reservation was full at 1200PM so we opted for the point. The wind was unreal but many people fishing. I did not fish due to the amount of rods already in and within the 4hrs we spent on the beach only 1 small striper was taken.

Went back on Monday early and parked in Lot 7 on the reservation. I fished from dead low till dead high using cut bait and worms with no luck. Even tossed a plug now and then with no results. About 15 other people fishing also using cut bait, worms, clams with no one catching anything.

At least the weather was great on Monday and the wife was happy to read while I fished.

Anyone else having luck?
