i know that july and august this place is awesome, but right now the bite is tough here. i fish here quite often and with all this rain the water is murkier than usual (this stretch is already murky) and spawning is or will be on the next couple of days so im not really foreseeing good bags coming out saturday.
A friend has been doing well with the frog and jig. He says the swimbait bite is nonexistent. It's usually good there.
So we'll see. I haven't been there yet this year, and it's been a really crazy year for weather thus far. What'll it be, 45 degrees when we launch on Saturday? Jesus.

FYI, there's an awesome Brazillian steakhouse right down the St from the boat ramp. Cheap and really good food, I'll be there for lunch if you guys wanna join
