Hey all,

It's been a busy summer, but the wife was all like "When are we going to the Quabbin!?" so the weather looks good this Saturday.

I love the dog days of summer and fishing deep water there for smallies and such. Anyone been out there lately? What are the water levels like? How did you do?

Thanks in advance

Was out there last Friday. It was my first time. My friend Tom took me out. He is a regular at the Q. He said the water is up pretty good.

We nailed them that day. They were cruising quite a bit. We would hit them good at times even catching doubles often, then boom.. nothing. We had to keep moving to find them. Electronics were key.

Good luck!

Went last Saturday. 12 hours, 38 smallies, nothing over 3 lb. but good action. I'll post trip shortly.

Thanks guys! I can usually find them in summer but never hurts to ask. I LOVE drifting the mouth of Leveau Island to Stevens Island, always a few big boys riding that trough right between the two islands.
