i have a questian maybe some one can answer for me. in the past month or so salt water fishing at my local boat ramp witch is brackish water from a river and a few times that ive been out in the water ive seen what appears to me as a snapping turtle i always forget to bring my binoculars with me all the time when i go to see if it is. from a naked eye it looks like one with the pointed nose but i havnt been able to see any of the body. is it possible for a snapping turtle to servive in salt water if it has enough fresh water mixing in it |

I don't see why not since they are air breathers it would really not be all that different for them. Sure what they eat will taste a bit different but they can live in some very hard environments...including extreme cold if need be.
Some brackish water should be nothing for em. |
