Can anyone show me a thing or two about poppers or swim shads from the surf? Sitting and waiting has been pure punishment.

Very Happy I find most forms of bait fishing excruciating. I need to be constantly active.
One of the problems may be that it's still early, some fish are already here but many are still making their way up the coast. There're no secrets to using either poppers or swim shads. How would you fish them in fresh water?

Know of any spots I can wade in?

Have you been down to Carson Beach in So. Boston?

Yup. It's by one of my regular spots. It gets super crowded there though... Plus, lots of kids late at night. Gets kind of annoying. I like to fish in peace, haha.

Come on relaxin in a lounge chair. With a cooler full of beers!
Or you chunk with one rod. Plug with the other.

Or

You can study the beach. Watch how the waves break. There's a hint of structure under the water. Like a sand bar! Hole. Or a rock!

Also go at low tide. Mark down where the sand bars are! The different sand formations in the beach. Rips and what not!

You might find a rock pile!

Put in your time and study the beach.
