I like you but I don't like you that much haha jk

This rod retails for $260 new.

I'm also going to be selling a Powell Max Crankbait Casting Rod 704 CB 7' M MF (8-17lb, 1/4-3/4 oz).

How about $175 for both? Shimano for you, Powell for Jayden. That's a killer deal.

The fact that you keep your gear in mint condition is the only reason I made an offer. I know its worth way more but I don't have a big need for another crankbait rod right now.
I do need a drop shot rod or shaky head rod for Jayden.

Sam, saw you mentioned the Powell Max Crankbait Casting Rod 704 CB 7' M MF. Curious what applications you found it best for? I almost pulled the trigger on one of those a while back, was going to use it for squarebills and traps. Read some reviews that said it was a bit stiff and didn't load up like some expected their CB rods to. Others liked it for jerks and topwaters too, so it seemed almost like a tweener for me. Curious to hear your thoughts after having used one for a while.

I used it for topwater - buzzbait and spooks. It was also my original squarebill rod, so yes, definitely a tweener. I disagree about the tip. Powell is usually about 1/2 power higher than the average and that holds true here. I would say it's more like a MH / MF. BUT I actually think it loaded up really well for an all graphite rod and held true to it's MF tip rating.

I don't think I'd use it for jerkbaits though.

I'd use this rod for jerkbaits. Sam just used it for cheating Laughing !
