anybody ice fish at Tispaquin Pond?
I've never ice fished before(I'm originally from Oklahoma), but it's just down the street from my house, so I thought I might give it a shot. I went there the other day and it was completely empty, not a single soul in sight. I tossed a fairly large rock out on the ice and it just bounced and slid, not even putting a chip in the ice, so I think it would be safe.
anybody got some info?
thanks in advance,
Tony |

| Haven't been there before, but I know theres plenty of ice. I was cutting holes in 10+ inches of ice last week on the north shore. try to find a topo map and give it a go! If you're worried about the ice, drills holes as you walk out. They also make these picks you can buy (or make with string, a wood dowel and some nails) so that if the ice does break, you can climb out of the water. |
