I've been trying all summer to catch a bass over 4lbs my cousin caught a nice 5.5lb and I'd like to get closer to that goal or beat it... Where are the best places to fish for BIG Large mouth Bass?

I have a canoe with electric trolling motor
But I also enjoy shore fishing while walking the shore not sitting in one spot.

I mainly use a 3/0 Gamakatsu hook with a 5 'Gary Yamamoto Senko
Or a YUM dinger... Maybe a strike king shad..

Any answers or tips would be helpful, thanks

There are 5 pound bass everywhere. They see about 10 million senkos a summer. Try throwing a jig

To throw out a different option...

Most bass fisherman treat it like blasphemy so I rarely mention it....

I also have a canoe and trolling motor. I have a lot of success with largemouth by trolling big spinnerbaits and yellow-perch imitation Rapala.

Troll drop-offs and weedlines. Experiment with depth/speed.

I've caught a 5 and a 6 pounder this year while trolling...many 3s and 4s.

I personally have little luck with senkos or jigging, never got the hang of it.
