Recently made a move to SW Florida. Have switched gears from fresh to salt. It is all fairly new to me, didn't do much salt up in MA. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. All shore fishing, canals and harbor. I have had 3 tarpon on and lost all 3. Been bit off a few times, these fish all have teeth! Had to put on a wire leader that I don't like using. Got my first redfish yesterday. Wasn't big, but it's a start! Gives me some confidence. You guys enjoy the cold this winter! Laughing

Good luck

It's what old (Smart) people do! You will get the hang of the salt. Get another kayak.
