we caught this at the Narrows in Wareham Massachusetts? can't figure out what it is?

it has such a snub nose??? and the striping on top looks tigerish? i wish we had gotten a better pic?

almost looks like a small redfish but i don't think they make it this far north...

Definitely Northern Kingfish. Caught tons of them in Cape cod.

Every year a few redfish are caught in New England.
Last year after the warm winter there was a school of em busting off the beach in cape cod.

2 years ago some guy caught a 40inch surf casting for stripers!

yea that is true but the little red fish don't make it up this far because of how small they are and its defiantly a northern king fish you can see the little whiskers and how he said the trigger like fin
