Where to get fresh bait??

I'm trying to find a place in the North Shore of Boston to get good, fresh bait like herring. There was a place in Gloucester MA called D&B bait, where you could get a bucket of fresh herring for cheap, but last time I went by the place it seemed like it was gone! Can anyone give me some info on this, and other possible places to get bait? Especially herring!
