Review: Nice photo's and I'm glad you found one on the wat home. I grew up fishing Winthrop...it's a good pond to fish from May-September....I mainly fish top water because of the weeds (frog, jitterbug at night)...weedless plastics also do okay. A lot of small bass with the occassional beast...good ones are in there but it's tough to get to them with all the weeds. I've heard it's a decent ice fishing pond...I may try that this winter.
