Review: Nice! Redfin pickerel don't really hang out in MA generally, and it doesn't look like one to me -- but it could easily be a hybrid. A friend of mine (who may be the best in the universe at MA freshwater fish IDs) and I got into a fight over a fish like your mystery fish, and decided it must have been a hybrid. PS: The guy is an author of this book, which is available online for free if you wanted to try keying it out: http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/124490#page/5/mode/1up
