How many people Drop Shot here for Bass and How is it a good rig to fish with? I just been looking for info on how to tie the knots

haven't done it yet, will do a lot of it this year. Supposed to be great when fish are pressured or lethargic from the heat.

I guess the key is to use a 4-5" worm and err on the side of smaller rather than larger when in doubt. It's a finesse technique, so go slow and light. Good luck.

the knot is a palomar knot with a really long tag end. after you tie this, insert the tag through the top side of the hook eye (with the hook bend up) and that is what makes it stand up and out. then just use a drop shot weight or a swivel sinker and tie a palomar knot. the drop shot sinkers dont need a knot because they just pinch the line off.

Michael said it perfect in my eyes. I used this technique off and on last year, having more success early on. Dont be afraid to put any soft plastic on the the drop shot hook. For example, I drop shotted a 4 1/2 Sluggo last year and it work pretty good. Or a Wacky rigged drop shot is fairly popular.

Works well very often.
