Mike, take a look at the line Shakespeare put out for their Ugly Stiks. Lots of choices and the price is right. The MH has a lot of backbone. Good luck.

Im looking for a spinning rod Meat. I want to be able to use it as a jig stick and to pull big spinnerbait like the one Jonny sent me. All my rods range from Ultralite to Med. Im leaning towards a St Croix, but would like more suggestions. Very Happy

Check out the St. Croix Mojo Rods. About $90 a piece, nice quality, and great reviews. Looks like they make a "Jig and Worm" baitcast rod 6'6" MH with a fast tip.

This is the thing. I dont want to go much bigger than 6ft 6in on rod size. I want a MH rod that rated at 1oz as its top lure weight and want line size to be at least 15-20 lb test.

thats exactly what i have is 6'6", i use it for spinnerbaits, jigging and heavy cover worm fishing. the mh helps me pull em out of thick cover where as my 7' m i use for more finese.
