No. Plymouth is the closest area with fishable SM populations

You can try South Watuppa pond in fall river. I just my caught first one there a week ago while jigging a gulp minnow

No fishable population but every once and a while one is caught that finds its way in from The res across the street

if you really want smallies Plymouth is the place. Lots of ponds there have them . The one place that I know that has them thats a little further north is Stetson pond in Pembroke.

No smallies in Darby. Closest best bet ( and prob. your best bet in Plymouth is/are Little south and Great South. Boot pond right next to those 2 also has them but in smaller numbers.

Don't forget Great Herring Pond off exit 2. It's a BIG chunk of water for a kayak, but worth it. Beaucoup smallies there.

There has to be better smallie ponds than Little South and Great South! I don't find either one of them to be very productive. I sometimes wonder if there are any fish in Little South. Rolling Eyes
