Bridge over Danvers River (saltwater) off of Rt 35 or Water St. in Danvers. Current rips under bridge during tide changes, very productive spot for bass. Bait and lure fishing effective, have to ensure bait stays down in water when tide is ripping through. You're essentially right on the street as you fish on the beach so watch your back cast! People also tend to heckle as they drive by so it's not a secluded private spot, but I have caught many stripers here in my day! Park directly on bridge, up on sidewalk or in breakdown lane. Less productive at dead low tides, good during tide change. Switch sides of bridge at high/low tide as direction of flow changes.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a location with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first location has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second location, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
